Amazing news...

My daughter Emily just called me to say that she is pregnant.  She has been married for 2 years to Sterling and they are ecstatic.  And so am I.  I will be a grandmother for the first time and she will get to be a mother, the best gift of all.  Talk about happiness?  I can't stop crying.....tears of joy.  :)

    Big news!!! After so much life, no matter how full or empty, to live to be a grandparent is worth the sticking around. :-)

    I was talking to a middle school girl who was home sick the other day while I was doing fix up work outside. She said sometimes it's hard to deal with her mom because she gets angry. But her grandmother is real nice, and only got mad at her once for taking the tag off a Beanie Baby stuffed animal.
